Philanthropy draws motivation from the needs of humanity

Aman Mehndiratta is serving society for a long period of time. As a philanthropist, he loves to serve people who are in desperate need of whatever they cannot afford or maybe are not fortunate enough to have. Aman is putting his heart and soul for the vision he has for the society. He has dream about a society which is better than today in every manner. All he wants is the enhancement of living standard in our society and make it a better place for the existing as well as the future generation. He is always self-motivated for the providing the help to needy ones. One thing that should be known about him is, he will for doing philanthropy did not come in a hierarchy for him, but he has developed it. In true words, philanthropy is not something which can come in legacy or by an external force. Philanthropy is a feeling in action, a pure love towards the humankind. This is the reason why Aman Mehndiratta is called a true and inspiring philanthropist.

Get motivation by the love of humanity, not compassion or legacy

There are mostly young entrepreneurs or those who have started earning and got rich in a short amount of time.  They are likely looking to do something good with their money. If you go and talk to them about philanthropy, in essence, what it means, what it is, and what it is not. Then you will come to know that many of them had never thought about philanthropy being a single bit more than giving their money away to a cause that interested them or that they were passionate about. This is how other wealthy people were shaping up philanthropy; they have assumed it is a simple charity action.

Most of the philanthropists today have totally forgotten the actual meaning of philanthropy. They are not aware of the meaning of philanthropy in the truest sense of the word. As a result, people twisted it to be something it isn’t.

Altruism

According to Aman Mehndiratta, it’s not about us being compassionate, because it’s not about us either. The work done under the banner of altruism is for those who need it. It’s much deeper than we feel it can be.

The fact that should be considered in real is philanthropy is not about legacy either. Aman says he does not understand the need for legacy, the reason behind is, it’s something that will happen after the philanthropist die. How can he/she benefit from that if he/she is dead?

The same thing is for passion. Any philanthropic activity should be done using our brains, and emotions we have for the humanity, not our passion. Passion in philanthropy is irrelevant. The thing that is required the most is ‘determination’ and love for humankind. This is because when things get adverse, then passion fades away. On the other hand, determination says, No matter how many times you fall on your face, you are going to keep getting up every time and start walking again until you get enough.

So at last, we must have known to the fact that if we’re not serving humanity to improve the lives of those who are in need of help, then it’s not really philanthropy.
